Marianne is a fine artist who paints deeply textured, abstract works.
Self portraits in abstract form, Marianne’s paintings are an externalisation of her inner life. As such, through her works, one can see passionate evolution and exploration. In her early paintings (Rustic Abstracts) holes were almost always present in one form or another. Her later work darts from those that are almost entirely white nothingness, (White dominated abstracts) to dark, furious and energetic carvings, to those that have more controlled and refined empty spaces (Monochromatic Abstracts). Exploring gold, bronze and silver, her most recent paintings depict ordered yet disordered circles of colour (Metallic Geometric Abstracts & Rustic Circles).
See below for examples of Marianne’s paintings. She has exhibited at a number of venues in London.
